March 3, 2015 - Myself and a few friends rope and play with Peachy. She's a 2-year-old strawberry/red roan filly with very little human contact. Here, we just worked on pressure-release, basic leading, approaching to rub and pet, and accepting a halter even being near her. I didn't want to halter her today, but having it over her nose was a good start. For a young horse and a bunch of kids, it wasn't a bad day!

Grooming your young horse

Grooming is an important first step in the training of a young horse. Keeping the coat of your horse brushed and clean contributes to your work horse health, but it also offers you a great opportunity to build a working relationship with your horse.
