At the fairs, do you remember riding the ponies, under the big tent, going around in circles, with all the other kids? Everyone is pretending to be a cowboy or cowgirl and is thrilled with their little ride around the circle. The ponies are happy, or content, or flicking their ears back and forth, wondering whether they like this or not. But patiently, the ponies give the children rides for hours. Such fun for the children and for the parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, enjoying and taking pictures of this great event.
So many of us love ponies and begin there with our love for ponies and the bigger one, the horses.
by Nancy Reishus, great lover of ponies and horses
This is an e zine about horses and ponies, with poems and stories and movie reviews. Special interest for the young at heart mindset.

The Horses of the Sea
The horses of the sea
Rear a foaming crest,
But the horses of the land
Serve us the best.
The horses of the land
Munch corn and clover,
While the foaming sea-horses
Toss and turn over.
