Bridger is a 6 month old colt that was weaned about a week prior to this video. He was raised on a large ranch and had never been touched or worked with before being delivered to his new owner. Prior to this session he had been approached and rubbed on a little but not caught in any way. This session got him driving around the pen, drawing a little, rubbed on with a rope, caught, learning to follow the feel of the rope and finding out that getting his head scratched felt pretty good.

Behandlungstraining, Medical Training Pony mit Abszess
Luke muss im Moment täglich die schmerzhafte Behandlung seines Abszess über sich ergehen lassen. Ich muss den Abszess mit einer Jodlösung 2 X täglich ausspülen. Vor unserem Training war das natürlich nicht so möglich. Er hat sich gewehrt und heftig mit dem Kopf geschlagen, wenn man sich seinem Kopf genähert hat. Verständlicher Weise. Dank eines systematischen Trainingsaufbau erduldet er nun brav die Prozedur, weil es sich für ihn lohnt! Natürlich nehme ich für solche Übungen extrem beliebtes Futter!
