Miniature Horses Visit Rush
Miniature horses from animal-assisted therapy group Mane in Heaven visited Rush in February. They greeted young patients at Rush Children's Hospital and paid a special visit to staff and patients in Rush's cardiac intensive care unit.
Training Prince The Mini Pony
This is Prince's 2nd training session. Prince is a grey and black Miniature Pony x Shetland and is 8hh. He is 3yrs old and is green with no training, so we are training him to do liberty and tricks. Please share and subscribe!!!
Training a pony to be kids safe
This is Sophie. She had anxiety issues when I got her two years ago, that has been addressed. Now it's time to teach her to be bullet proof for a kid to ride.
I don't use treats because I want to see the real horse in front of me and one that's not influenced by food.
Teaching her to accept the halter, or in this case a rope loop, over the head head on is useful if you have to put something on over a fence.
2010 American Miniature Horse Champ Jumper
Larry, the "Little Horse That Can Jump", wins the Amer. Miniature Horse Assoc. 2010 Amateur Jumper World Championship. Larry stands 30 inches tall and cleared some 41 inch jumps to win this year.
